General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for the rental of holiday apartments

1. Subject matter of the contract

1.1 These General Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between the landlord and the tenant regarding the rental of the holiday apartment. 1.2 The contract is concluded upon the landlord's booking confirmation and payment of the agreed amount.

2. Booking and payment

2.1 The booking is binding upon confirmation by the landlord in writing (by email or on the website). 2.2 A deposit of 50% of the total amount is due within [7] days of booking. The remaining amount is due no later than 2 days before arrival. 2.3 Payments can be made by bank transfer, credit card, or using the payment methods offered on the website.

3. Cancellation conditions

3.1 Cancellations must be made in writing. 3.2 For cancellations up to 2 days prior to arrival, a processing fee of 50% of the total amount will be charged. For later cancellations or no-shows, the entire rental amount will be retained unless the holiday apartment can be rented to someone else. 3.3 Travel cancellation insurance is recommended.

4. Arrival and departure

4.1 The holiday apartment is available from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival. 4.2 On the day of departure, the apartment must be vacated by 12:00 PM at the latest. 4.3 Earlier arrival or later departure is only possible by prior arrangement.

5. Use of the holiday apartment

5.1 The holiday apartment may only be used by the number of people stated in the booking confirmation. 5.2 Pets are permitted with prior consent. 5.3 The tenant undertakes to treat the holiday apartment with care and to report any damage immediately.

6. Liability

6.1 The landlord is not liable for loss or damage to property brought into the apartment by the tenant. 6.2 The tenant is liable for any damage to the apartment caused by him, his fellow travelers, or guests.

7. Withdrawal by the landlord

7.1 The landlord is entitled to terminate the contract for good cause, e.g., in the event of force majeure or default by the tenant. 7.2 In this case, the rent already paid will be fully refunded.

8. Data protection

8.1 The personal data provided by the tenant will be used exclusively to process the booking. 8.2 The privacy policy, which can be viewed on the website, applies.

9. Place of jurisdiction and applicable law

9.1 The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. 9.2 The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of the lessor, provided the lessee is a merchant or legal entity.

10. Severability Clause

10.1 Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
